Edinburgh
Edinburgh was a strange little city, but one that I loved meeting for sure. Within the span of 48 hours I saw three rainbows, hundreds of years of history, and more kilts than my senses could handle.
Hyde Park Might Be Neverland
I'm a sucker for a good lay-in-the-grass place. At home, I spent nearly every day that I wasn't working sunning myself outside. I'm a sun junkie & love being outside (even if nature and I aren't always one). So imagine my excitement when Paige and I made our way over to Hyde Park this weekend. Spoiler alert: Hyde lives up to it's Hype. We went over a little late in the day for an afternoon long laze in a meadow session, but I just know I'll be back before the winter hits: with the winding trails and stunning views, I don't think I'll ever get enough.
Mummies Mummies Mummies
And no, that title wasn't my impression of little British Children. The other day I went back for British Museum round two (in one week) with my flatmates Colleen & Paige. We discovered the way to tackle a museum as big as this one (without losing one another in the Africa room) is to take it little bits at a time. On this day, much to my delight, we decided to hang out with the ancient Egyptians.
Rapid Paced Sightseeing
On my second day in London, our trusty program directors led us out on a whirlwind jaunt around some of the touristy sights that left me and my sleep deprived body raggled on my couch afterwards. Everything was beautiful & dreamy nonetheless, and even though I want to go back and spend a little more time at these places, I'm so thrilled I got myself out of bed for some London 101.
